If you have children, John Cena is everything you want them to look up to in a celebrity. Far too often, you'll see celebrities that don't do things the "right way". They get involved in sex scandals, drug and alcohol addictions, legal issues, and everything else under the sun. I'm sure a lot of them are very nice people, but they have problems when it comes to making the right decisions in life. His wrestling character only adds to things. Not only can younger fans see that he handles his life in the proper manner, but they can watch him on television and use his mantras for their own lives, whether they're "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect", "Never Give Up", "Rise Above Hate", or any of the other catchphrases he's used during his career. Adults may view it as corny, but that's because a lot of Cena's shtick isn't geared towards adults. When something isn't "for" you, of course you won't like it or understand it. All in all, John Cena isn't someone you have to love and cherish as an in-ring performer, but he is someone you have to respect. You have to understand just why WWE uses him the way they do, and if some of you can put your biases to the side, you'll be able to do just that. He's not going anywhere, nor should he, whether he's continuing to win World Titles or just being used as a "special attraction".
