That entrance ramp is proving a problem. Gone are the days when Ric would bounce into the ring, running and shrieking like a wild thing. These days we’re looking at it taking a considerable amount of time, which seems to be increasing with each week that goes by.

Sure, Charlotte is doing her best. She links arms with her good ol’ dad, less as a gesture of support and bonding, more as an attempt to drag him along a little faster. She’s largely unsuccessful in this endeavour.

Occasionally Ric may even stop dead, in that way that older people will stop in the street to watch an ambulance or police car race by. Perhaps he’s doing this to really savour the moment, milk the applause and make a real show of his entrance. The look on Charlotte’s face as she desperately tries to speed things up really does suggest otherwise however.

Trimming this down would mean we could see more matches in Raw. Or at the very least more of Chris Jericho telling us we are all ‘stupid idiots’. Either thing would be a move forwards.
