10 Reasons Ring Of Honor Is Still The Champion Of The Indies
7. Improved Production
If there is a fault to be levelled at classic ROH, it’s the production values. It wasn’t common to be watching the likes of CM Punk and Samoa Joe only to realise that the camera had missed a crucial moment.
Now, however, the whole thing has taken on a sheen that wasn’t there before. Every dive from the ring is captured perfectly, and while it certainly isn’t up to WWE’s ridiculously high standards, they are easily competing with TNA.
The production of a wrestling show may seem unexciting when compared to its in-ring action but when you are used to watching WWE, moving elsewhere can feel strange. You notice the differences, and it puts you off. In the last few years, ROH has done everything in its power to lessen the gap between them and the big dog, and they are reaping the benefits now.
