New Japan Pro Wrestling has become the purist’s choice. Taking up the role that many felt Ring Of Honor held in the past. However, if you live in the UK or America, it’s not always easy to keep up to date with their programming. Only certain shows are broadcast with English commentary, and even those can be difficult to get your hands on.

So how do you see the stars of New Japan? Well, you tune into ROH of course. ROH and NJPW’s working agreement means that both companies regularly provide talent to the other and championships are defended on both shows. So if you want to watch Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii do their thing in America, then it is the place to go.

Of course, you won’t be getting the full New Japan experience but as a taster of what you can expect from the Japanese company ROH is the place to go. It also doesn’t hurt that it means you get to watch those incredible talents mix it with the best of the American indie scene.
