10 Reasons Ring Of Honor Is Still The Champion Of The Indies

1. The Young Bucks

At some point in the last few years, the Young Bucks made the decision to stick a middle finger up to every wrestling fan, former pro or journalist who bleated on about a lack of psychology among modern talent. They took the rulebook tore it up and then superkicked it for good measure.

What we are left with is a team who set out purely to entertain. Imagine Swantons, Tombstones, Superkicks and more, then times it all by ten and you are summing up the Young Bucks' experience. It’s wrestling done at a thousand miles per an hour, and while it may not impress Jim Cornette, it is certainly fun.

It’s also annoyed a fair few of the wrestling purists. Go on to any Young Buck video and half the comments underneath will be singing their praises and the other half will be declaring them everything wrong with wrestling. Yet, Matt and Nick seem unfazed by it all; they are too busy going out and being the best team on the planet.

If you want an example of what makes The Bucks so entertaining to watch you only need to check out the Ladder Wars that closed out All-Star Extravaganza. Come the closing seconds of the match they find themselves in a perfect position to win. Instead, they take pause and drive Frankie Kazarian through a table with an Indytaker from the top of the ladder. Logical? No. Brilliant? Most definitely.
