10 Reasons Ronda Rousey Is Far From Done In WWE
"Rowdy" will be back.
Ronda Rousey's appearance at Wrestlemania 31 got everyone talking. Pro wrestling fans. MMA fans. The mainstream media. Why? Because she's coming awfully close to dabbling in three professions, something arguably never before seen at a high level. The Rock and Brock Lesnar, to date, have arguably been the most successful multi-profession stars to come out of the WWE. The Rock, of course, went to acting, while Lesnar went to the UFC, conquered, then returned after his career was cut short. Rousey has a chance to mimic Lesnar in reverse should she choose. Having got her start in Judo then transitioning to mixed martial arts, she could be the biggest name in the women's pro wrestling in history. She could be sold as a legit threat to both the women's and men's divisions in the WWE, given she's an extremely dangerous combatant who has burned through challengers in the UFC. Will she embrace wrestling full time? It's doubtful. The UFC wants to downplay further involvement between Rousey and the WWE, no doubt protecting their investment, which makes sense given Rousey just signed a new UFC deal. That said, Rousey is not done with the WWE. You will see her on screen on WWE programming again, and you will see her in the ring again. Here's why.
