The UFC has long claimed that they didn't want their "real" athletes crossing over to the "fake" world of pro wrestling because it could confuse the public about the legitimacy of the UFC product. Yet they let Rousey do it in the end. They've welcomed CM Punk. Just like they welcomed Brock Lesnar, and considered welcoming Kurt Angle. So how much can you really trust them when they try to claim there's nothing more for Ronda in the WWE? Well, you can't. They've claimed that Rousey's appearance was a one-off, but pay close attention:
Ronda Rousey does NOT have a deal with the WWE, her WrestleMania appearance was a "one-off".
That simply means Rousey doesn't have a contract as an ongoing performer, and that's correct. She's a UFC fighter. Yet Pete Rose showed up in WWE programming multiple times. The Rock continues to return. And sometime in the future, Rousey will be back also. The UFC is simply choosing their words carefully to prevent too many distractions, and wisely so.
