10 Reasons Ronda Rousey Will Headline WrestleMania 32

10. WWE Could Already Have A Deal In Place With UFC And Rousey

The Rock is set to headline WrestleMania 32, with industry insider Dave Meltzer saying on Wrestling Observer Radio €œHe€™s going to be wrestling Triple H or a mixed tag.€ The mixed tag is of course Rock and Rousey versus Triple H and Stephanie. It would be the main event of next year's show, with Meltzer commenting €œThe mixed tag would draw better, a lot better€ than a standard Triple H versus The Rock match. Adding Rousey to the mix would seriously elevate the match. Her mainstream profile would ensure extra interest from both the MMA community and wider culture. Rousey is only set to get bigger, with more movies lined up and probably two UFC fights before next year's Mania. She looks untouchable in MMA and is likely reigning for many years yet in the female bantamweight division. The very fact that WWE did the segment that they did at Mania with Rock and Rousey, it suggests that some sort of deal may already have been brokered for the UFC star to wrestle next year.
