The question on everyone's lips is why would the UFC allow their top star to get involved with fake fighting? The reason could be that the UFC see Ronda as a bargaining chip for Brock Lesnar to do MMA appearances. Brock is the UFC's biggest ever draw and even spiked their TV ratings in none-fighting roles. He actually proved really engaging as a studio personality on UFC's first Fox special. His heavily promoted appearance ensured strong ratings, albeit the quality main event of Cain Velaquez vs Junior Dos Santos was also a key reason to tune in. Lesnar is finished with fighting, but as part of a potential Rousey WWE deal, the UFC could bargain for a Lesnar UFC deal. His presence alone on a TV special or pay per view could be a selling point for the MMA group. Have him do studio analysis or even commentary, in addition to shooting other content. The WWE want to use Rousey. The UFC want to use Lesnar. A negotiation could absolutely be done here, with both stars benefiting from the best of both worlds.
