10 Reasons Shane McMahon Vs The Undertaker Is A Mistake

1. Where Do WWE Go Afterwards?

Whether Shane wins, or The Undertaker wins, it is tricky to envision where WWE go with it. Shane winning would get rid of The Authority from the Raw GM spot, but then a babyface GM throws up other problems, particularly in relation to Roman Reigns. The new WWE Champion needs a heel foil, and it would be tricky ground for WWE to book Shane and Roman as babyface buddies. The even bigger issue is that Shane winning means The Undertaker loses, and that's simply unfathomable. You can't have Taker with one of his only WrestleMania losses being to Shane McMahon. But on the other hand, if Shane loses, what was the point in bringing him back? Just to do a job to The Undertaker and disappear again? The biggest mistake in this booking is that WWE are going to have to book a loser, which could have damaging implications for the future value of both men and indeed the company.
