10 Reasons Sheamus Is Genuinely Hated By WWE Fans

4. Stale Character

Sheamus is boring. Oh, his matches are pretty entertaining, which is why it€™s tough to point out all the reasons why he€™s not as over with the fans as he could be. But Sheamus the character is boring. He hasn€™t changed since he turned three years ago. He bangs his chest and yells, €œFella!€ smiles and cracks jokes, kicks a guy in the face and pins him. Fans haven€™t seen him really pushed as a character in a good while. Sheamus will have good matches with several different opponents, but when was the last time you saw any kind of character development from the guy? Even Randy Orton, who sometimes falls into the same black hole of hatred that Sheamus does with fans, has given fans different glimpses of himself, most notably during this recent heel run against Daniel Bryan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=609uR7t2V9E But Sheamus is just as two-dimensional as he can be. At this point, turning Hornswoggle back into a leprechaun and pairing him with the Celtic Warrior would be an improvement of some sort.
