1. Undertaker's WrestleMania Loss Hurts Marquee Match
It's no secret that Sting has been rumored to face Undertaker at WrestleMania for many years. When Sting did interviews a couple of months ago he openly talked about how he was interested in wrestling Undertaker. It's not a mystery. That's what he wants. It's what WWE wanted at one point. Now that Undertaker doesn't have an undefeated streak at WrestleMania there are questions about if the match would still take place and if it did, would it feel as special? No. There are also questions about whether or not Undertaker will ever wrestle again. The Streak's over, so that's not a draw anymore. What could be a draw is Undertaker announcing his last match and WWE heavily promoting that at a WrestleMania. If that happened, though, would it be against somebody like Sting? That seems unlikely. A match like that would probably be against John Cena or maybe Lesnar. With the Sting/Undertaker dream matchup not feeling like a big deal anymore, perhaps that is the biggest reason why Sting is reluctant to sign on the dotted line.
