Sting is not the kind of guy to do a lot of interviews. It's just something he tends to avoid doing unless he has a rare appearance to make. When he did interviews a few months ago, one of the things he said a few times is that he rarely watched WWE ever. If he's not a WWE viewer then he probably lacks knowledge about some of the people that work there. Maybe he has friends that give him that kind of info although it's one thing for a friend to tell you about a good wrestler and another to see it for yourself. It reminds me of Bill Goldberg and why he wasn't that successful in WWE. He was not a huge wrestling fan. He just got into it because he had nothing else going on in his life. Goldberg signed a one year deal with WWE and he had some success, but it was only a year and he didn't seem to want to stick around for longer than that. The point is that if Sting isn't emotionally invested in WWE as a viewer that keeps up with the storylines then he may seem uninterested in ever going there. That has to be a big reason why it's taken so long.
