10 Reasons Sting Should Debut At WWE Survivor Series 2014
9. To Challenge Rusev
Rusev is being hailed by many WWE fans as the next great heel main event star. The reason for that is twofold, as he is a very physical athlete whose brute strength has made him a force to be reckoned with in the company. He is very punishing and very brutal in the ring and to run into Rusev is to collide with a Mack truck; there is just no give in him. The other half of the equation when it comes to Rusev is his unbeaten record. The pride of Russia has been unstoppable on every level and even though he has been rocked back on his heels by several opponents, no one has been able to get a victory over him. It seems that Rusev is indeed untouchable. Colliding with Sting would perhaps yield a much different result. The Icon may be older and not as quick as before but he is a veteran with a world of experience to draw from and he is fully capable of handling himself in the ring against any kind of opponent. He is also a very enigmatic character, who is absolutely fearless in the ring. Sting would likely play mind games with Rusev from the moment he crossed paths with him. Since Rusev is part of Team Authority, any contact he had with Sting would likely happen at the end of the match. Rusev could perhaps even be one of the last two men left in the ring when suddenly the lights go down and Sting is in the ring when they come back up. Someone will eventually knock Rusev down a notch and it could very well be Sting that does it.
