10 Reasons Sting Should Debut At WWE Survivor Series 2014
8. He Can Further Entice Potential Subscribers
The WWE Network has really been struggling as of late. Despite the countless hours of archived content including historic matches as well as pay-per-views and original programming, the company is having a tough time getting the Network over to the masses. WWE has even gone as far as handing out the Network free for the month of November, in hopes of bringing more subscribers on board. Therein lies the direct link to Sting. Not only can fans go back and witness Sting's greatest moments in WCW while watching the WWE Network, they can also see him for free on November 23. The company has been promoting the fact that Survivor Series is included in the free preview, so the possibility that something big will happen is very real indeed. Sting could be that something big, a very surprising addition to an event that is already promising to be a major night for WWE. The sight of Sting in the ring, no matter what capacity he appears in, would be a great way to sell the Network on the following Monday Night Raw. Anything can happen in WWE and Vince McMahon loves reminding fans of that very fact. Showing Sting's debut live on the WWE Network free of charge is a great way to get that fact over with fans. It would be a great selling point for the Network, one that would surely turn some heads in WWE's direction.
