10 Reasons Sting Should Debut At WWE Survivor Series 2014
3. WWE Needs A Twist Ending
Right now, fans likely expect to see either John Cena or Randy Orton standing tall at the end of Survivor Series. With Orton recently being expelled by The Authority and Cena's domination as the everlasting top guy, the truth is that either outcome would be perfectly logical for Survivor Series. However, such endings are not exactly what fans want to see. WWE has been the Orton and Cena show for over 10 years now and even though each man has done everything in his power to entertain the crowds, the fact is that predictability is not what makes WWE special. That distinction lies with the twist ending, the kind that leaves fans in total shock and awe long after the program has gone off the air. It's that sort of ending that keeps fans coming back for more, one that causes them to tune in the night afterward to see the fallout from the night before. This would surely be the case if Sting were to close out the Survivor Series. That event could end with Team Cena coming out on top but subsequently being beat down by The Authority. One by one John Cena and his teammates are decimated and left for dead, until the lights go out and then suddenly come back up. Sting's presence in the ring in that very moment would be perhaps the most shocking twist that fans have seen in a very long time and The Icon could end the night by taking out The Authority with a baseball bat in hand. It would work on every level and the best part is, no one would have seen it coming.
