10 Reasons Sting Should Debut At WWE Survivor Series 2014
4. The Fans Want Him
No other reason on this list is perhaps as important as this one. Too often what fans want tends to go by the wayside, ignored by a company that claims to deliver what the audience wants but actually misses the point more than once. This has perhaps never been truer than in the case of Sting, who the fans clearly want on WWE programming. Every time his face is shown, the crowd reacts. Every time he appeared in a public capacity for WWE, he got a great response. Despite how much time has passed since WCW has shut down, the fact is that Sting is still a known commodity and one that is wanted by a great number of the WWE faithful. To WWE's credit, much of what has happened over the course of the past three years has been in direct response to what the fans want to see. The explosion of CM Punk back in 2011, the rise of Daniel Bryan in 2013 and the evolution of Dean Ambrose in 2014, all have some deep roots among the fans. The fact is that the fans always know best; the product either survives or dies based upon the money that is shelled out by the paying audience and when they're happy, the cash rolls in. Fans want Sting in a WWE ring and with any luck, the company will see that and get him going, perhaps even at Survivor Series.
