10 Reasons Sting's WWE Debut Was Awful

3. He Looks Awful

Steve Borden is 55 years old, and looked every bit of it at Survivor Series. He was chunky, he moved slowly, and had a visible bald spot on the back of his head. Basically, he looked like a grandpa with facepaint. Time is the one opponent that wrestlers can never defeat. To his credit, Sting kept in pretty good shape during his 40s when he was in TNA. But no wrestler looks intimidating in his 50s. Sting looked especially pathetic sharing the ring with Triple H, who even in his 40s is a beast in the gym and has a fantastic physique. It was tough to suspend disbelief that Sting could handle Hunter so easily. Once everybody stops marking out and looking at the segment objectively, it€™s actually quite humorous watching how Sting dispatched with Triple H.
