Say what you will about Brock Lesnar’s post-UFC 200 transgressions, but with The Undertaker’s declining appearances, The Beast Incarnate has become WWE’s foremost special attraction. The paucity of his appearances makes each one feel special, even if it’s just an excuse for Paul Heyman to show-up and cut a promo. Lesnar’s presence elevates every show he appears on.

Brock faces Randy Orton this weekend, and the match has been handled perfectly. WWE haven’t allowed Lesnar’s run-ins with USADA to get in the way of their promotion, and it’s shaping up to be The Beast’s most exciting match since he was WWE Champion. His aura is unblemished, and his presence is as terrifying as it’s ever been: The Beast is back, and The Viper’s in deep, deep trouble.

His ‘Mania match with Dean Ambrose was disappointing, sure, but it was a rare blot on Lesnar’s stellar track record since returning to WWE in 2012. Few wrestlers deliver on the big stage like Brock Lesnar, and the Orton match is going to be special from bell-to-bell. Brock excels in this kind of environment, and should be fired-up, angry, and ready to prove the world wrong following his recent controversies.

Whatever happens, Mr. Orton is in for a long night.
