10 Reasons This Year's WWE Tough Enough Sucks

4. Nothing The Contestants Do Matters To The Judges

The judging format on Tough Enough is horrible. Each week, the contestants perform challenges for trainers Billy Gunn, Booker T and Lita. However, those three trainers have no say in who gets put in the bottom three. That honor belongs to Paige, Daniel Bryan, and whoever is replacing Hulk Hogan. All they have to go on are the advice of the trainers, and the edited footage that they see at the same time as the rest of America. It€™s really backwards. This past week, it was obvious that Amanda needed to go home. She wasn€™t very good at anything other than talking smack about the other girls. She was rightfully put in the bottom three by Daniel Bryan, and rightfully voted by America to go home with only a 13% vote to stay. However, she was saved by replacement judge The Miz because, quote, €œshe€™s hot,€ and one of the strongest remaining contestants, Mada, was sent home. Before Mada, Patrick was obviously the top choice, and he was put in the bottom three by Paige for a really shady reason (he was too overconfident), and was voted to go home. So the contestants know that no matter what they do during the week, any of them can be put in the bottom three for any reason, and if you€™re doing a reality competition, that makes absolutely no sense.
