Truth be told, a lot of the criticisms of this season of Tough Enough could also be applied to the previous season a couple years ago, but the show was a success based solely on the charisma of host Stone Cold Steve Austin. His weekly grilling of the contestants was easily the highlight of the show. Who can forget his classic reaction to when Arianne (Cameron) told him her favorite match of all time was Melina vs. Alicia Fox? Austin was judge, jury and executioner, and the show was entertaining solely because of his input, and nothing else. Chris Jericho is also entertaining, but his role for this season has been reduced to simply playing MC. Anybody could be doing what Chris Jericho is doing. Renee Young, his co-host, could easily do Jerichos job as the main host. Jerichos talents as an entertainer are seriously going to waste in his role. His knowledge of wrestling is also going to waste because he has no input on who stays and who leaves. Why exactly is he there?
