To be fair, pro wrestling has had its share of surprising moments where a competitor dons the attire of another and shocks their opponent and the fans alike. Who can forget Ciclope unmasking, revealing himself as Dean Malenko (for the biggest pop of his career), or Diamond Dallas Page scoring a win dressed as La Parka?

Similarly, masked tag team wrestlers have taken advantage of switching roles with their partners when in trouble. The Killer Bees made it their entire gimmick back in the late 1980s, and Edge and Christian's Conquistadors were adept at this technique as well.

But none of those things could have prepared viewers for the astonishment they were about to experience when Matt Hardy scored what we all assumed was the winning pinfall on BROTHER NERO. The man had been through a war worthy of a lifetime of PTSD - he'd done a swanton OUT OF A TREE onto a ladder, been battered with a kendo stick, blasted with fireworks, and now he'd just been tazed by a lawn technician.

While wet.

Surely it was over. Imagine the shock when Matt gleefully pulled the mask off Willow to reveal...Senor Benjamin! BROTHER NERO had somehow gotten one over on him. His Wolverine-esque recuperative powers had allowed him to not only recover from the tazing, but to miraculously slip out of the soaking wet full bodysuit and mask he wore as Willow and dress Benjamin in the outfit, sneaking away to catch Matt by surprise, all in less than thirty seconds.

It was like the end of a Scooby Doo episode written by M. Knight Shyamalan.
