If ever there was a sign that New Japan want this to be the most watched event in the promotion's history, it would be having a former WWE performer with the talent and following that Rhodes has make his debut at the Tokyo Dome.

Since leaving the WWE Cody has become a wrestling globetrotter, now with appearances in practically ever big promotion in the world. That said, outside of WWE, NJPW is the biggest and he will undoubtedly want to make a statement. His opposition implies he'll get an introductory win but it is how he wins that will define this transition, as fans are unsure what kind of capacity Cody will be working with the company.

If he indeed becomes an exemplary lieutenant in The Bullet Club's ranks then this could be the move that gets as many WWE eyes on the product as when Jeff Hardy made the leap to TNA back in '04.
