10 Reasons To Be Nervous For WWE In 2020

2. WrestleMania's Main Event Scene?

Stop fretting, that Hulk Hogan image is a bit of a light joke. There's no way big Terry is going to headline 'Mania 36 (even if he has busily been selling the media on "one more match" with Vince McMahon). It'd be ridiculous to see Hogan working another match on 5 April 2020, and yet something else seems more unbelievable.

There's no obvious main event poking its head into view.

WWE pulled a masterstroke last year by having women headline for the very first time. That, for the first time since Daniel Bryan's memorable title win at XXX, gave the event an up-to-date, progressive atmosphere, and it was awesome to see. Now they've done that, where do the company turn next? Do they revert to putting Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns back in the headline slot?

Or, do they pull the trigger on Reigns vs. The Rock and bank on Rocky's mainstream appeal selling tickets and Network subs? Becky's issues with Ronda Rousey were already kicking off at this time last year, but there's nothing tangible on the horizon quite yet. Reigns vs. Lesnar XXXVI it is then.
