8. Emulating His Icon

If you think about your sporting hero, you might occasionally dream of emulating their success. Many sports fans live vicariously through the achievements of the athletes they follow. For Triple H, during his formative years in pro wrestling, his hero was Ric Flair. When he watched Naitch win the WWF Championship in the 1992 Royal Rumble, no doubt he imagined how awesome that achievement must be. Indeed, nearly a quarter of a century later, that victory still gets talked about today as was one of the all time legendary WWF moments. Some people see the achievement as bigger than Flair's collective sixteen titles. Well, for Triple H, he doesn't need to imagine the feeling of that moment. He's now the second man in WWE history to win the WWE Title in a Royal Rumble match.
