With the future of professional wrestling in his hands, Triple H faces more backlash than any if WWE fails in the absence of Vince McMahon. After all, he is the man who has recruited talent, saw to it that they receive all the proper training to adapt to the WWE way of performing, hired and fired the trainers and insisted that NXT be presented as the cornerstone of WWE Network programming. If the system he oversees fails to produce talent that will help carry the parent company into the future, no one person will be under more scrutiny and criticism than the current COO. With that much pressure on him, it is hard to imagine a scenario where The Game does not work as hard as humanly possible to ensure the success of the company well beyond Vince McMahon's departure. He wanted that spot and it will be up to him to succeed in it or face the wrath of wrestling fans wondering how he could have allowed the most powerful and recognizable company in the industry go so wrong if he fails.
