10 Reasons Trish Stratus Was WWE’s Best Diva Of All Time

5. WWE Still Has Not Replaced Her

WWE fans have witnessed the company undergo changes from one regime to the next. Bruno Sammartino gave way to Hulk Hogan, then Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, to Stone Cold Steve Austin and now John Cena. The WWE faithful understand that evolution is a necessary evil in the industry and must occur for the company to remain profitable and exist in the future. However, that evolution has not yet happened for the Divas division. Though many very talented female stars came through Vince McMahon's company, the fact is that for many fans, it can all be summed up with before Trish and after Trish. That is the tremendous amount of impact that she had both on WWE and the fan consciousness. To this day, Vince McMahon just cannot replace her: Mickie James had a great run, Candice Michelle did very well, Kelly Kelly was lifted as the face of the Divas and Beth Phoenix was top notch but none of them could quite do what Trish did. She achieved a level that very few had attained before and really no one has since. Whether or not anyone will ever be able to reach the heights and the respect level that Trish did is unknown. The company has tried several times, to no avail. NBA fans often talk about the fact that no one can ever top Michael Jordan and for WWE, the same could perhaps be said of Trish Stratus.
