10 Reasons The Undertaker Rivalry Was CM Punk's Greatest Feud

1. Fantastic Match At The End

CM Punk Wrestlemania 29 The most important aspect of any rivalry - and especially those based on the Streak - is the quality of the in-ring content. Against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, CM Punk put on one of the greatest matches of his career. He more than held his own against a man who would almost certainly warrant a spot on the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling. The match was a back and forth battle of the best kind. Punk was driven by his fury at the fans and his desire to cement his legacy as the best in the world, whereas Taker was desperate to reclaim his iconic urn and honour the man who had been so instrumental in his career. With these dynamics in place and Paul Heyman brandishing the urn at ringside, the bout was an absolute delight to watch. Streak matches always have an unpredictability to them, with finishers landing everywhere and dozens of tense nearfalls. This was an especially impressive bout, with Punk kicking out after a Tombstone Piledriver and a tremendous submission sequence. Both men performed incredibly, creating a match that would cement the Undertaker as arguably CM Punk's greatest ever rivalry.
