10 Reasons Vince McMahon Is A Better Businessman Than Dana White
3. He Doesn't Badmouth His Own Workers In Public
Run afoul of Vince McMahon and there will no doubt be consequences - but Vince isn't one to air his dirty laundry in public. A wise move when you head up a publicly traded company. Dana White? Well, not having stockholders to answer to, he has no problem trashing his own fighters - but even without stockholders, it's not a very sound move, business-wise. Are fans going to plop down hard earned dollars for a PPV event when you've previously trash-talked one of the fighters in the main event? White called Roy Nelson, one of his company's most popular heavyweights (and who has stepped in to save cards in danger of cancellation due to injury in the past), a "f****** idiot who couldn't get a job at Kinkos." He claims that he "used to beat the living s***" out of Tito Ortiz when the two boxed in the early days of the UFC. He has also clashed with Matt Riddle, Rampage Jackson, even featherweight champ Jose Aldo, complaining about the latter not having the killer instinct he once had. One thing Dana White could learn from McMahon, there's a time to speak out, and a time to deal with things in private.
