Prince Puma is the most compelling new character in the promotion. He's the guy that Konnan has taken under his wing and says he will turn into a legend. He is more well known on the indy scene as Ricochet although his presence on Lucha Underground is going to give him a bigger spotlight. Prior to his signing by Lucha Underground, he was considered one of the best wrestlers in the world that wasn't in WWE. Maybe WWE had him on their radar. We don't really know. Signing him was a great move by Lucha Underground because he could be a difference maker for them. The first episode of Lucha Underground featured Puma in a very entertaining main event match against Johnny Mundo. If you've never seen Puma wrestle before then you probably left that match wondering when you're going to see him again. He's a standout performer the way Rey Mysterio was in WCW or Rob Van Dam was in ECW. The time is going to come where Puma is put in a position to be the featured performer in the company. He has to be. It's all about telling the story the right way by having him rise up the ranks and earn the respect of the fans. Fans want to see compelling characters that can have great matches too. Puma has that potential for Lucha Underground.
