1. His Fourth WWE Championship Run

The greatest work of Daniel Bryan's WWE tenure came between 13 November 2018 and 7 April 2019. There's no debating it.

Just think about what this run entailed. You might be thinking, "Oh, his fourth reign as WWE Champion. So what?", and in a way, you'd be correct. It was his fourth run with WWE's biggest prize. What the guy accomplished during this period, however, is impeccable.

He flourished in the eco warrior gimmick because he is an eco warrior in a way in his real life - could anyone else have made that title design actually work? He got Erick Rowan over to such a level that he had a rivalry opposite Roman Reigns that led to a pay-per-view singles outing, one of only four that Erick had under WWE - inarguably, it was also his greatest. Most importantly, though, Bryan ensured KofiMania was a success.

Everything he said, everything he did, it all came together to make Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston a legitimately phenomenal story arc. That this only came about because of an ill-timed injury suffered by Mustafa Ali ahead of Elimination Chamber is a key aspect to this story. Had that not happened, Kingston may not have had his WrestleMania moment.

Daniel Bryan had already had his moment in the sun. Now, it was his turn to make Kofi Kingston's moment that extra bit special.
