Some believed that Vince McMahon ended the Lana/Rusev partnership on television, and paired the Ravishing Russian with an utter hunk in Dolph Ziggler in an attempt to break the real-life relationship between Lana and Rusev up - simply because Vinne Mac reportedly didn't believe someone who looks like Rusev should be with someone as hot as Lana... At the time it was an inexplicable move split up such a fantastic gimmick that was far from being broken. It was also a bit of a devilish move to pair Lana with Dolph Ziggler on Vince's part; The Showoff is a man who is recognised as one of the company's heart throbs and someone who has previous with at least one current Diva (Nikki Bella). He then put Rusev with Summer Rae - who is stunning in her own right - which did confused things slightly. Surely Vince was contradicting himself, if this rumour was true, of course. Nevertheless, TMZ would report that Lana and Rusev were engaged which put an end to the unbearable torment caused by the love quadrilateral between RuRu, Summer, Lana and Dolph and Vince McMahon was defeated. Good on Rusev!
