10 Reasons Why The 1995 King Of The Ring Is WWE's Worst PPV Ever

8. Bret Hart's Wasted 1995 Continues

Bret Hart was the consummate professional. Despite what occurred at the 1997 Survivor Series, Bret Hart always did what was asked of him and carried himself like a pro, which includes a year-long run during his prime outside the WWE title picture.

Being removed from the title scene is not always a bad thing but, in Bret's case, his demotion in 1995 was a complete waste.

While Diesel was headlining against Shawn Michaels, Sid and Mabel, Bret was in the mid-card battling Bob Backlund, Hakushi, Isaac Yankem, jean Pierre Lafitte, and Jerry Lawler.

Bret had already worked a long program with Lawler in 1993 and no one was clamoring for more of it less than two years later. Despite this, WWE booked The Hitman in another long program involving Lawler, including the Kiss My Foot Match at the King Of The Ring.

A definite brainchild of Vincent K. McMahon, the loser was forced to kiss (or in The King's case swallow) the winner's foot.

Instead of being utilized in the main event or tournament, The Hitman was in an attraction match where he ended up shoving his bare foot down the gullet of The King which is not exactly the best use of Bret Hart in 1995.
