While not the average executive in many ways, Vince McMahon is undoubtedly an OLDER executive than many, and in a media environment that's becoming increasingly digital, underground-favoring and diverse, he could feasibly be at a loss regarding how to access what is rapidly becoming an evolving and more aware than ever fanbase for WWE. While Vince McMahon was the man responsible for taking pro wrestling out of "smoke filled halls," he's absolutely not the guy to make wrestling "reflective of a globalized, connected, heavily interactive and competition desiring modern fanbase." In Vince's way being so ingrained in the minds of his family, too, maybe some distance away from WWE for the McMahons is just what the doctor ordered as far as keying the company's future success.
