7. There Simply Aren't Enough Stars

Daniel Bryan is right, you know... The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion believes the company has failed to produce enough new stars since the Attitude Era and this has to be one of the main reasons the business as a whole is weaker than it's been for some time. John Cena aside, WWE has failed to produce that single star that attracts fans in from wider demographics in entertainment. During the Attitude Era, the likes of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and others were all over the place. They were at the pinnacle of entertainment and were arguably the biggest names in the proverbial showbiz land in the late 1990s. This exposure undoubtedly benefited the business. And even though WWE still attracts the biggest names to guest host RAW and the like, their standing in the realms of entertainment is markedly lower than it was in years gone by. This is nothing more than a sign of the times and popular culture as a whole, which, leads up on to our next point...
