1. CM Punk Himself Wants To Move On
This is the biggest bone to pick with CM Punk fans directly and one that has needed to be addressed for a long while. It's excellent that CM Punk has so many passionate supporters and it can't be denied that having him back in a WWE ring would be a sight to see. The return of CM Punk would be must-see viewing and define the word surreal. However, there is a line that shouldn't be crossed by fans of any celebrity. The constant hassling of CM Punk over his WWE career and awaited return was justifiable for the first few months, and although it comes from a well-meaning place, it is downright disrespectful to continue doing so two years later. Punk has a hard enough task dealing with the constant naysayers in wider media and criticism from other MMA fighters, he doesn't need it from his so-called supporters on social media. The Second City Saint has made it crystal clear that he doesn't want to discuss his WWE career anymore and its his right to request people to view him as a UFC fighter because he is one. Punk got everything he needed to say out in the open on Colt Cabana's podcast and followed it up with numerous media interactions. WWE is in Punk's past, yet media personalities and Punk fanboys who refuse to let go of their dream of seeing their main man return to the company continue to bombard him with WWE-related comments and inquiries, hoping that he will drop both his ambitions and morals just to appease them. There is nothing wrong with supporting CM Punk but it has to be done in the right way. Rather than mindlessly chanting for his return to WWE, support Punk's UFC ambitions and cheer him on as he steps into the Octagon.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
