10 Reasons Why WWE Fans Should Get Over CM Punk Already
3. He Was Never 'Representing The Fans'
It's quite odd to see people acting as though CM Punk was some sort of saint and activist for good, lobbying for change in the company for the betterment of all its performers and fans. Sorry, but that was not the case. CM Punk was looking out for his own best interests and at times the interests of his buddies, that's it. This is not a cheap shot at the man by any means. Every performer in WWE needs to look out for themselves and their closest friends given how volatile the WWE roster is, that is how things have always been and will continue to be. The false belief stems from passionate CM Punk fans building Punk up to be a unique WWE deity who sacrificed his being for the boys and girls in the back. It's almost as though their admiration for their favourite performer has surpassed rational belief. CM Punk remaining on the WWE roster would not have changed how the company has operated in the past two years, nor will his return change how things are done in the future.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
