10 Reasons Why WWE Fastlane 2016 Truly, Utterly Sucked

10. Chris Jericho-AJ Styles Handshake

The whole purpose of the mini-feud between Chris Jericho and AJ Styles was clearly to put Styles over, and the decision to do so by having Jericho put Styles in a position of having to 'put up or shut up' was most definitely a good one. Everything done in the lead-up to the rubber match at Fastlane was done excellently, with both competitors securing victories over one another in the process, and the match itself was very enjoyable to watch. It was expected that Styles would put in a good showing, but Jericho well and truly held his own against a competitor that required a capable opponent in order to get over. However, the conclusion of the feud was just awful and quite dull. After AJ Styles had to force Chris Jericho into the third match by beating him around on Smackdown, Jericho was seething and vowed to halt Styles' momentum. After Styles secured the victory, an obviously angry Jericho pulled him from the corner mid-celebration and cocked his fist. Then Jericho offered his hand to Styles and the two shook hands. Why? After Jericho clearly stated that he didn't like Styles despite respecting him, he goes ahead and shakes the man's hand. What's the point of Jericho adopting a heel stance if he is just going to shake the hand of the man he vowed to beat?

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
