10 Reasons Why WWE Will Have No Competition By 2020

2. NXT Is The Overall Best Weekly Pro Wrestling TV Program In The World

This is an unquestionable fact. In an hour of television, you're likely to get high-quality women's technical wrestling, hybrid-style athletic wrestling, tag team action, and oftentimes that's even before the main event. When you consider that NXT is likely at present WWE's "C-Show" brand (behind Raw and Smackdown), the idea that it -- and not the established Monday and Thursday programs -- is the best bell-to-bell wrestling TV show, then that says everything. NXT is Lucha Underground without the craziness and Impact Wrestling with easier to follow storylines. NXT also has wrestlers who are veritable underground and internet legends having dream matches on a weekly basis, plus also has successfully developed the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. While yes, ROH can say that too, NXT put the cherry on top of the pie. By 2020, if NXT can maintain this momentum, it will likely be as hot of a brand on the underground as the main roster's programming will be in the mainstream. With that type of chokehold on pro wrestling, the question is who will assimilate and who will die?
