10 Reasons Why You NEED To Be Watching NWA Powerrr

5. Goals, Goals, And Goals

NWA Powerrr may have only aired two episodes so far, yet each and every wrestler who’s appeared on the show to date has had a mission statement.

In the WWE landscape of bloated rosters and a general lethargy to the importance of championship belts, the NWA has made sure that each of its talents has a goal and a strategy on how to achieve said goal.

For instance, every male singles act featured so far has made at least a passing mention to wanting a shot at Nick Aldis’ NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Add in to that, the tag team ranks are simmering away nicely with all eyes on the NWA World Tag Team Championship currently held by The Wildcards.

Even better, NWA National Champion James Storm views himself as being next in line for a crack against Aldis due to the fact that Storm holds his own gold on such a pedestal that he views himself as the rightful and logical challenger for the Ten Pounds of Gold - much like how the Intercontinental Champion used to be perceived as the #2 guy in the WWE throughout the 1980s.
