10 Reasons Why You Need To Respect Kevin Nash

5. His Endless Support Of Scott Hall

When Scott Hall went into the WWE Hall of Fame 2014 following the unlikeliest of recoveries from a two decades of significant drug and alcohol abuse, there can't have been many prouder than Kevin Nash to see it happen.

Indeed, when Nash inducted his best friend that night, the emotion became very real as he reminisced about everything Hall had done for him early in their time working together, never once seeking praise for the years of assistance he'd provided when 'The Bad Guy' was hitting rock bottom in his addiction issues.

From 1999 onwards, Nash was a cheerleader for the unravelling Hall, keeping his name on television sometimes against the wishes of management, even helping score (or protect) jobs for his best friend in WCW, WWE & TNA.

Throughout this time, there were innumerable occasions where it looked as though Hall had simply gone too far, and alongside Nash, fellow friends Shawn Michaels, Triple H and X-Pac had all separately admitted they thought they might soon hear the news he had died.

Nash deserves supreme credit and plaudits for robustly standing by his friend in his darkest hour, not least when that hour lasted approximately fifteen years.
