10 Reasons Why You Need To Respect The Miz

7. Awesome Truth

Joining forces to combat alleged conspiratorial forces working against them, The Miz and R-Truth were a fleetingly influential duo that sent shockwaves through a cluttered main event in the wake of the CM Punk 'pipebomb' promo that caused months of chaos.

Assaulting Triple H & Punk following their match at September's 'Night of Champions', 'The Awesome Truth' also attacked referees and midcarders in an effort to undermine COO Triple H as he struggled to maintain control of a disgruntled roster.

Getting fired on-screen at the end of an October Raw, the pair would return weeks later in dramatic scenes at the conclusion of the 'Hell in a Cell' WWE Title Match between John Cena, Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk.

Following Del Rio's pinfall over Punk, a hooded Truth and Miz appeared from ringside, decimating the wrestlers, the officials, and even the camera crew within the locked Cell.

With 'The Game's entire roster unable to break into the cage, law enforcement were required to snap the locks, triggering a near-riot when Triple H jumped the handcuffed duo as the calmly exited the cage.

It was a truly impressive spectacle, but only served to earn Miz and Truth a headline squash against The Rock and John Cena, which instantly nullified their threat.
