10 Reasons Why You’re Watching WWE Wrong

2. Failing To Exhaust The Network

Many of the criticisms levelled at the modern product are warranted, even if they fail to take into account what WWE is in 2017 - but the glorious WWE Network is taken for granted by too many.

Pay-per-view events, at least those on Donald Trump's side of the pond, are a sixth of the price they used to be. The documentary specials in the Beyond The Ring section might be as historically biased as they are fascinating - but they used to cost a small fortune on the DVD shelf. Modern episodic television is eating itself - but you can relive the glory years of the model in its entirety across WWE, WCW and ECW.

The original content is middling - Bring It To The Table is self-defeating, Holey Foley is a terrible example of a terrible genre - but wrestling's glorious past is available at the click of a button, and so few actually care that it borders on the depressing. You can watch the genesis of the Fabulous Freebirds' turn on and angle with the Von Erichs effectively in full. The Network is better at classic wrestling than Netflix is at classic film.

You're not likely to see a 10 Best Nick Bockwinkel Matches list on WhatCulture any time soon because barely and modern fans care about him, and it's a damn shame.
