10 Reasons Why You Should Cancel Your WWE Network Subscription

9. Filler Wrestling

wwe main event Okay so WWE has a very explicit hierarchy of shows and this is no secret. Monday night Raw is the crown jewel of WWE€™s television product - it is their highest rated programme, it is broadcast live, and it gets a ludicrous three hours of air time every single week of the year. Following Raw in importance, there is Thursday Smackdown which despite being treated pretty poorly these days, still at least gets some okay ratings, and WWE at least pretends that it is somewhat relevant to the storytelling in their product (of course it isn€™t actually though). Despite their differences in importance and in quality there is one thing that these two shows have very much in common and that is this fact €“ they are available practically for free, and aren€™t available on the network for weeks after they have screened. That means that after this five hours€™ worth of pretty pathetic wrestling programming, all that is left is wrestling programming that goes beyond the realm of filler and right into the territory of completely meaningless. There is nothing of any impact or any importance that has or ever will happen on Main Event or Superstars. The matches are bad, the announcing is weak, and your life will not be enriched in any way by sitting through either of these shows. Nobody involved with the shows wants to be there, and they serve absolutely no purpose on this planet. Quite simply, you don€™t need them, so don€™t worry about missing them.
