10 Reasons Why You Should Cancel Your WWE Network Subscription

4. The Wrestlers Need To Organise

People keep pulling out the chestnut that if you cancel the WWE network you will hurt the wrestlers because they will get paid less. And this is probably true. But hold on a second €“ whose fault is that? It sure isn€™t the fault of the viewers. It is 100% categorically the fault of WWE and WWE alone. They are the ones that screwed their talent out of PPV income, and cut their pay. And they are the ones that have ruthlessly crushed any organising from their talent over the past thirty years. So don€™t feel bad because Vince McMahon won€™t give his workers medical insurance so he can bankroll his wife€™s attempts to get into politics. That€™s his dickish behaviour €“ not yours. WWE talent need to organise and unionise because the power that WWE wields over them is insane. This is the company that calls its employees independent contractors, and then tries to tack on €˜no compete clauses€™ when they leave, which is completely impossible from a legal standpoint. They are bullies and thugs and if the wrestlers want a fair break, they need to tackle them head on. You pulling your subscription might just be that extra push that they need. But even if it isn€™t, that doesn€™t matter. You don€™t need to be guilted into giving your money to a corporation that doesn€™t care about you or its workers. WWE had major problems with how it treats the people that work there, and it is something they need to solve and if anything you should feel proud for not giving them your hard earned money.
