10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Cancel Your WWE Network Subscription
2. WWE Isn't Going To Change Anytime Soon
You can complain all you want but WWE isn't going to change between now and WrestleMania. Sure, they acquiesced to fan demands at WrestleMania XXX and made Daniel Bryan WWE Champion, but he was only ever going to be a transitional champion at best. Now Bryan isn't even in the title picture. It's a sad fact but, Vince McMahon is set in his ways and is more stubborn than ever before. This is a man who thought that a straight singles match between Randy Orton and Batista at last year's 'Mania would be the 'biggest WrestleMania main event of all time'. Vince is so out-of-touch and behind-the-times that it's frightening. But cancelling your Network subscription isn't going to change that. It might frighten investors and maybe force a much-needed change of creative direction, but these things are only temporary. Vince is going to be running WWE until he is no longer able to and, if he thinks that Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns is the new biggest match in WrestleMania history then that's what you're going to get. Many have praised Triple H for his handling of NXT and Smackdown but, as long as Vince is able, he will be the one calling the shots on Raw and PPV. WWE has its fingers in so many pies and has so many other revenue streams that it will be financially safe for years and years to come. A couple of cancelled Network subscriptions isn't going to change that.
