10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Cancel Your WWE Network Subscription
8. You're Only Hurting The Wrestlers
This might seem like a minor point but, although you may be trying to send a message to WWE officials and creative team by cancelling your Network subscription, you're also hurting the wrestlers, too. WWE Superstars will get a percentage of Network subscription money, no doubt a fraction of what they used to receive from traditional pay-per-view buyrates. In the current climate, with WWE cutting costs and wrestlers unsure of their pay (a lot have complained openly about the cheques they received for their involvement in WWE 2K15) they need everything they can get. And they work hard for their money. Sure, they're not 'underpaid' by any stretch of the imagination, but many WWE superstars don't get paid anywhere near as much much as you would think. Some undercard performers are making just enough to get by when you factor in the costs of the road. At the end of the day, it's not their fault that WWE booked the Rumble the way they booked it. Vince McMahon's decision is final and, as much as some may have spoken out about the creative direction, they are ultimately powerless to do anything about it.
