10. Goody Two Shoes Underdog Was Not Working

The first thing to say about Reigns is that the goody two shoes underdog character was not working. They had him in that role for much of the last year, and fans just couldn't get on board with it. Yes, that gimmick worked for Daniel Bryan, but just look at Reigns - he's a good looking and physically-imposing badass.

By tweaking the character and acknowledging that, they've now put him in a more natural position. He looked down on Zayn and Styles during Raw, as if he couldn't take them seriously. That extra edge, bordering on heelishness, is what will make Reigns more interesting.

His character is now embracing being the bad guy to the IWC, while maintaining its badass babyface spot with the mass audience.
