10 Reasons WWE Can't Care About Their TV Ratings Anymore

9. Brock Lesnar Versus Daniel Bryan At WrestleMania 31 Didn't Happen

You want drama? Here's drama. Daniel Bryan has a bad neck. Against doctors orders he's basically putting his career on the line to defeat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31 for the WWE Championship. Anyone who's watched the development of Rusev knows how much Vince McMahon loves the film Rocky IV. Lesnar as Drago ending Bryan's career (like Drago killed Apollo Creed) at Wrestlemania via TKO due to a "broken neck" after a journey to Suplex City would've been amazing drama. Add in say, Bryan's new-found friend Roman Reigns storming the ring and getting into a massive pull-apart brawl as Lesnar and Heyman gloat over Daniel Bryan being held in Brie Bella's arms? The rest of 2015 as Reigns chasing Lesnar is set. Yeah...when you leave ideas like that on the table and ratings fall because fans really haven't found that amazing reason to care about a babyface like Roman Reigns, it is what it is. Then, when the ratings fall through the floor, the point at which you should've cared being missed makes over-caring now actually dis-engage fans more. WWE's made their bed, and now they must lie in it.
