10 Reasons WWE Cares So Much About Tag Team Wrestling Again

1. Triple H Is Old School As Hell

The creative buck now stops with Triple H. Moreso than anybody else, it's Triple H who likely loves tag team wrestling more than anybody else in WWE, and that's why there's roughly 15 or 20 tag teams overall between NXT and WWE at the current time. A wrestler who never got the chance to ever wrestle in an established tag team combination (but is a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion), it's entirely possible that the WWE Universe is having to deal with an old school wrestler living out his dreams through an entire roster of wrestlers. If Triple H is this old school, what would be amazing is if there were a one-night "Crockett Cup"-style tournament featuring established teams, developing teams, old school legends and one-night only dream teams, too. Yes, that might be going too far, but in the same thought, the idea that there are at least five teams who could feasibly be the WWE Tag Team Champions right now was once far-fetched, too.
